Welcome to the Shipley Harley Davidson rally web site! The Shipley Harley Davidson rally has been running since 1979 and has attracted bikers and locals alike in their joint enjoyment of the phenomenon that is Harley Davidson. This web site celebrates West Yorkshire's annual tribute to the American Dream.
News update ...... Well, firstly to all of those who attended the Premiere showing of the Shipley Harley Davidson rally DVD last week, we would just like to say a big thankyou. The turnout was excellent. I also would like to extend our thanks to Bev & Griff for providing a wonderful spread of food (even though Pete did almost forget the baps) ....... that ham was beautiful. Cheers guys (& gals) What can I say ...... in my humble opinion the DVD is brilliant. I was blown away by the quality and when it came to the bit where the bikes fired up their engines in the village before the ride out, it sent a tingle down my spine. Talking to people on the night, everyone seemed pleasantly surprised at just how good the DVD has turned out to be. I'm not going to give you any more information about the content, cos that would spoil it for you. Suffice to say, there are some awesome Harley shots, some great interviews and some very funny moments. A 'must purchase' for Xmas ........... go on treat yourself .... you know you want to The Shipley Harley Davidson Club would also like to extend our thanks to everyone involved in the making of the documentary, but especially Darren Miller (cameraman) whose idea the program was in the first place and Ramon de Juan (producer), without whom this would never have happened. Our thanks too to Jacqui Bellamy & Adam Smith for their fantastic photography. Copies of the DVD are now available.
