Subject: Harley Documentary

On behalf of CVA.TV, I would like to extend my grateful thanks to Pete, Roly, Bev and all the team at the rally for allowing us unlimited access to all areas and attendees during the filming of the documentary material.

The footage we have is fantastic and everyone has been incredibly helpful, co-operative and enthusiastic. Just the ingredient for an interesting programme.

CVA will be working very hard to ensure the DVD is released in time for Christmas and will post updates on this website as to its progress and where to purchase it.

Again, many, many thanks for all your help and contribution, the crew have had a terrific time and made loads of new friends.

I look forward to rewarding everyone's efforts with the finished product, one which I hope you will enjoy and cherish for a long time.

Just to update you on the progress of the DVD.

We are almost at rough-cut stage now which means we will be whittling down the finer detail, adding sound design and the Voice Over during the next few days.

The material is great and we could have made three films from the footage we have.

CVA are hoping to stage a preview before Christmas at the Rugby Club so we will keep you updated about this.

I feel confident that you will all be able to fill your Christmas stockings with the DVD which will make for great viewing after all that wine and turkey!

I wish to extend my sympathy to your friends who have had their bikes stolen. If we can help in any way, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks for a great weekend again, bit hard for me as it was the first Shipley i had to do without my wife Sue who passed away on 10th August.

Of course it was us Caledonians who borrowed your banner, who else and it will be looked after until you come and claim it back at the Wallace next year (21st - 25th May 2009 ) in Stirling.

Once again we had a fantastic time in Baildon even though we had a 'problem' with the bike.
I was counting how many of our members came and it was 31!! I know we have nearly 80 members but that ain't to bad for our club I can tell you... so that must prove something! See you when we see you, take care.

Hi

Thanks for a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend. It was the first Shipley we have been to and definately won't be the last. We were there by default as we had been booked into the Anglesey Show as traders. Instead after that was cancelled we decided to jump on our bikes & party with you lot.

Next year we would like to come to Shipley with our trade stand if possible I know it is a long way off yet but if you can keep me in mind it would be appreciated. We sell German & cruiser style helmets, facemasks, glasses & goggles, biker patches etc.

Have a few beers & a well earned rest.
